James Herriot Museum:-

Situated in the actual 'Skeldale House' at No 23 Kirkgate, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, Hambleton District Council's millenium project explores veterinary science and takes visitors on a journey back to the 1940's. It is a unique tribute to Alf Wight, famous author of the James Herriot novels and is the only centre of its kind in the UK dedicated to Veterinary science.
